Flavor Homemade Double Burger

Updated: May 16

Time: 40 min | Difficulty: Easy

The Flavour Homemade Double Burger is a true treat for all burger lovers. It consists of two juicy beef patties cooked on a hot grill or in a pan until cooked to perfection. The patties are typically seasoned with spices and herbs for a rich, savory flavor. Between the two patties, you'll often find a layer of melted cheese, which serves to bind the meat pieces together and provide additional creaminess and flavor.

One of our absolute favorites. It's a really juicy, delicious burger with double the meat!

The combination of two meat patties and the Big Mac-like sauce is truly key here. Next time, though, I'd add shredded lettuce —it would give the whole thing a bit more freshness. – Prime Recipes

💡 Save calories –

Total savings potential: 👉 Up to 300–450 kcal per serving if you:

  • Use only 2 patties (80–90g each) made from lean ground beef (10–15% fat) instead of 400g 80/20

  • Use only 2 slices of cheese instead of 4 or use light processed cheese

  • Halve the mayonnaise in the sauce or replace it with low-fat yogurt/skyr

  • Generally reduce the amount of sauce (about 1 tablespoon per burger is enough)

  • Use only a little oil (1 teaspoon or oil spray) when frying

  • Switch to a lighter bun or smaller portion if necessary

👉 This way, the burger stays juicy, flavorful, and filling, but with significantly less fat and calories
